Environmental awareness in Vietnam has been growing steadily in recent years. According to a 2020 survey conducted by WWF-Vietnam, 91% of Vietnamese respondents said they were highly concerned about environmental issues, while 83% considered a clean environment essential to their health and well-being. The survey also found that 71% had taken at least one concrete action to protect the environment in the previous 12 months.
These numbers reflect something we deeply believe at Timbaris: meaningful change begins with awareness, but it only becomes possible when awareness turns into action.
Sustainability Begins With the Way We Make and Pack
For us, caring for the environment is not simply an initiative or a seasonal commitment. It is a natural responsibility that comes with being a business.
Packaging plays an important role in how products are made, protected, and delivered. We believe that rethinking packaging is one small but meaningful way a business can reduce its environmental impact without compromising the safety of the products it creates.
Since 2018, we have been working toward a more responsible packaging system. Our outer packaging uses recyclable cardboard boxes, while the inner protective layer is made from kraft paper that is laser-cut into a honeycomb structure. When stretched, the paper expands into a lightweight yet protective cushioning layer that helps protect our products during transportation.
It may seem like a small change, but we believe that small choices become meaningful when they are made consistently.
Even during challenging economic periods, we have continued to hold onto the principles we believe in and look for ways to make our packaging more responsible.
Every package we send is a reminder that protecting what we love should not come at the expense of protecting the world we live in.
Beyond Packaging
Our commitment to sustainability extends beyond the products and packaging themselves.
We believe businesses have an opportunity to contribute to the communities and environments around them. Supporting initiatives that restore forests, protect ecosystems, and create a healthier environment is one way we can turn our values into meaningful action.
