This magnetic knife block adds an artistic touch to one’s kitchen counter. The color & grain of the wood are so pretty. The wood seems to be of good quality. The magnetic block allows one to keep one’s knife super handy and easy to grab. A couple of my knives have a tendency to slide sideways rather than staying perfectly straight upright..The product comes with directions for assembly as well as basic tools with which to put it together. Now, admittedly, I have arthritis & weak hand strength, but I had a lot of trouble screwing in one of the 2 bottom screws on the bottom of the piece. I could not get it to go completely in, so it is sticking out, making the block rest uneven on the counter.This piece is a good size. It does not take up too much space on my limited size countertop, and fits almost all of my knives. It is super easy to use…. Touch a knife to the surface & it sticks in place. Need a knife? Just pull it to you & it easily comes off. Great product!

Just received this and had to test it out immediately! It works so well and looks great on the counter. only took me 3 mins to put every pieces together. my knives are currently in plastic protectors but the magnets are strong enough to hold them perfectly. Love the black design too, while it might not feel like a luxury product but it’s definitely give a high quality feeling and definitely worth it

I was quite disappointed in this item although it is extremely well made. Its looks very nice, however I do not quite understand the usefullness of its function. It actually takes up quite a bit of counter space without being very functional to hold more than a few knives. My biggest gripe is that the magnet is not as strong as I would like. When I go to pull one knife off the board, it cause some of the other knives to slip or wiggle which doesn’t feel very safe when you are detaching a sharp knife. I also found that the base doesn’t have anything to grip to the counter because it’s slides a bit too easily that again when you are pulling knives from the board, it’s swivels and slips on the counter. I think this is beautifully designed but I’m not quite sure the benefit of using one of these as I am someone who uses my knives daily and often. Perhaps it is better for someone who does not use their knives often but would just like to display them.

This BRENZAA magnetic knife block transcends our kitchen counter by making it more efficient and beautifies its appearance.The blending of different color tones really makes this knife block stand out against the kitchen's backsplash. We have a chunky knife block that also is unsafe to use as the knives are placed with the sharp edges facing outward. It has a big footprint on the counter. When I saw this BRENZAA knife block, I knew it would solve my issues with the old block.The BRENZAA block allows my knives to be magnetically attached to the front and back of the block. It can handle even my largest chef's knife with room to spare. The magnetism is strong and there is worry about the block tipping over.I can safely pull knives out and replace them knowing the sharp edges are not in my way.The knife block is essentially rectangular and when placed just in front of the backsplash, there is more room in front of the block. I have no height restrictions from the upper cabinets like I would with the older blocks.Once I opened the knife block. I immediately applied a nice coating of mineral spirits to help keep the wood from drying out. The knife block took the coating nicely with no issues.As for the knife sharpener, I have plenty of knife sharpening stones, blocks, and ceramic rods to use as a primary option. I think the included knife sharpener is just gimmicky but not necessary. I don't like how it is so easy to pop out of its socket. I will not be using it much, if at all.Still warrants 5 Stars for making my counter more efficient and safer to manage my knife usages.Recommended.

This magnetic knife block adds an aesthetic touch to your kitchen. The wood looks great and this is a neat way to display your knives. As far as utility goes the primary benefit to this magnetic block (compared to your traditional knife block) is that you can easily see which knife you are grabbing. The downside is that the magnets are pretty strong in the center which actually makes it a little tricky removing a knife without knocking into the other knives. When you are in a hurry this could be a safety issue. An additional factor that limits functionality is that the magnets are only strong towards the center of the board and near the edges there is not enough magnetic pull to keep knives on the board. If you look at the knives in my picture, the one on the far right is as far away from the center you can place a knife on the board. The board is easy to assemble (takes 5 minutes) and fits nicely on the counter. Overall okay price for value but this really seems more like an aesthetic piece rather than a convince one.
